🇵🇭🇨🇳⚡️ — A China Coast Guard vessel collided with and damaged a Philippine government boat near Sabina Shoal on Friday during a mission to deliver fuel to Filipino fishermen.

The Philippine vessel, BRP Datu Magat Salamat, suffered damage to its railings and deck structures, but no injuries were reported.

The Philippines accused the Chinese vessel of deliberately ramming the boat after a series of dangerous maneuvers. China disputed that account, saying the Philippine vessel ignored repeated warnings, suddenly accelerated, and cut across the bow of the Chinese ship, causing the collision.
