⚡️🇺🇦🇷🇺The SBU reports that they, in coordination with the GUR, said it had foiled an alleged terrorist attack planned by Russia’s FSB against a leader of the Russian opposition movement who had travelled to Ukraine for Independence Day celebrations.

The SBU said that during searches linked to the investigation, a group of people attacked its investigative team and attempted to obstruct the operation by blocking officers’ vehicles. This activated the SBU’s Alpha Unit, who used firearms to stop armed resistance.

Initial investigative measures indicated that those detained belonged to a unit of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Weapons and documents were seized, while authorities continue to establish the circumstances and the role of each participant.
