🌞🇺🇸🇮🇷⚡️ — Kurdistan Regional Government Prime Minister Masrour Barzani is calling for stronger air defenses after more than 1,000 drone and missile attacks on Iraqi Kurdistan since the U.S.-Israel war with Iran began on February 28, Al-Monitor reports.

Barzani warned that the withdrawal of U.S. Patriot systems and personnel would leave Iraqi Kurdistan increasingly vulnerable.

He called on the U.S. and other partners to help the KRG acquire its own air defenses, early-warning systems, and counter-drone capabilities.

American forces have so far intercepted most incoming missiles and drones.
