🇷🇴🇺🇦🇷🇺⚡️ — Romania scrambled F-16 fighter jets to destroy a naval drone (USV) detected a few hundred meters from the Neptun Deep gas project in the Black Sea.

Authorities said the drone was destroyed to protect hundreds of workers and secure critical energy infrastructure.

Its origin remains unknown, although Ukraine has confirmed that the drone did not belong to its forces, according to Defence Minister Radu Miruta.

Footage shows a Romanian F-16 destroying the USV with its onboard cannon.
