The 24-year-old took the aircraft from Kalocsa Airport without permission before making an emergency landing in a sunflower field near Gerjen, around seven kilometers from the nuclear facility.
Police said the man attempted to flee after landing and later tried to take control of a motorist’s vehicle before being stopped. He was subsequently arrested and taken for questioning.
