China can no longer remain silent when someone dresses up in a sailor suit and military cap and, badly pronouncing certain words, talks about a nuclear strike.
China must respond. It must cool this fervor. China must prove its ambition to be one of the world’s leaders, and not only economically and technologically, but also civilizationally, by making it clear that no dictator has the right to threaten the planet with his old nuclear warheads.
